How to Use NetIDs in the University Libraries
All Students, faculty and staff at UAlbany are assigned a NetID (i.e. "username") and must set an associated password. These together are called their UAlbany credentials and provide access to most University networked services including the following library services:
- Off-campus access to databases and online journals.
- My Library Card to review current materials checked out, review loan history, and renew materials within our online catalog.
- Interlibrary Loan (a.k.a. "ILLiad") and UA Delivery for requesting materials.
- Electronic Reserves for 24/7 online access to course-related readings, lecture notes, PowerPoints, and more.
